The Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints are the last two teams to win the Super Bowl and on Halloween these two Super Bowl title contenders will go head to head in a game that could keep Ben Roethlisberger and company atop the AFC North division and be a yet another loss for the defending champion Saints.

Coming into this NFL regular season, the Indianapolis Colts were favored in NFL picks to go the distance and win a second Super Bowl title in the Peyton Manning era, but not far behind them was the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints.

Unfortunately, after the first seven weeks of the season, the Saints no longer look like the dominant team they once were last season, but if they can get a win over arguably the best team in the league in the Pittsburgh Steelers, they might be able to turn some heads as Drew Brees and company could be back in business.

As of right now, the Saints are favored to come out on top with a -1 point spread which means this will be one hell of a game!

The defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints came into this NFL regular season with the knowledge that every team that they would face this season would be circling the week on their schedule that they would be playing the defending champs, but even though the Saints knew they would be in for some stiff competition, they didn’t expect to have already lost two games coming into Week 7.

Two losses really isn’t that bad, especially for a team that has been known to bounce back quickly like the Saints, but the loss to the Atlanta Falcons was huge as from here on out until they play Matt Ryan and company later in the season, they will be in second place and playing catch up.

In Week 7, the New Orleans Saints will have a chance to get an easy win against the lowly Cleveland Browns. Even though the Browns have a resurgent running game with the emergence of running back Peyton Hillis, they don’t pose much of a threat and are the underdogs in NFL picks at -13.5.

There is a slight possibility that an upset could happen here, but smart money says that the Saints will cruise to victory.

The St. Louis Rams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are two teams that have really struggled over the years as they have desperately tried to rebuild their franchises with hopes of getting back into playoff contention in the NFC Conference once again.

Unfortunately, despite their efforts to rebuild over the years, both the Bucs and Rams have failed to get anything going until this season where both teams have played surprisingly well to start the season coming into this Week 7 showdown.

As of right now, the Bucs (3-2) and Rams (3-3) have exceeded expectations and look pretty good this season with a good young core of players, they still may have a ways to go before they are playoff bound, but they have definitely opened some eyes around the league as they are no longer an easy with for their opponents.

Unfortunately, only one team can come out on top in Week 7 and as of right now the Bucs are favored by -2.5 in NFL picks against the Rams.

Even though the Bucs are more than capable of pulling off this win over the Rams, I believe Sam Bradford and company will upset Tampa Bay this week.

The Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys came into this NFL regular season with high hopes and expectations of being Super Bowl bound, but after the first five weeks of season things aren’t looking good for either one of these NFC Conference heavyweights as they will head into Week 6 with just one win a piece.

There is no question that these two teams are amongst the most talented in the NFL on both sides of the football, but they just haven’t been able to pull it together in the past few weeks and as a result have really disappointed their fans and people favoring them in NFL picks.

This week these two teams will battle it out in what will almost certainly be a high scoring affair with two of the best quarterbacks in the league throwing multiple touchdowns to try and lead their team to their second win of the season.
Even though game could easily go either way in Week 6, I believe Brett Favre and company will be the team to come out on top as they played well against arguably the best team in the league last week (New York Jets) and nearly came out on top.

The NFC North division has become pretty competitive once again with the Chicago Bears supporting an undefeated record (3-0), the Green Bay Packers playing extremely well on both sides of the football and Brett Favre’s Minnesota Vikings slowing coming back to form, but the Detroit Lions have been a pleasant surprise as they have played well despite being winless heading into Week 4.

Even though the Detroit Lions are always the underdog in NFL picks on a weekly basis and for good reason, they have a good chance of beating the spread in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers as they are favored to lose by more than two touchdowns (-14.5).

There is no question that the Lions have a long way to go before they can become relevant in the NFL once again, but they have seen some vast improvements to their squad this season with the emergence of rookie running back Jahvid Best.

Matthew Stafford might still be suffering from an injured shoulder and will miss Week 4’s matchup against the Green Bay Packers, but the Lions are a team on the rise and could be a force to be reckoned with sooner rather than later.
